Spice World was a cinematic masterpiece and fuck you for thinking otherwise.
Anonymous asked: Is Elle Woods a Mary Sue? I mean she unrealistically got into Harvard ("What? Like it's hard?") to chase down her ex-boyfriend (who falls back in love with her, but of course she fell for the quiet nerdy guy). Idk man. What do you think?
no stop, stop right now,
Elle Woods is a very intelligent young woman, who we see working very very hard and completely giving up on her social life to study hard enough to get into Harvard.
The line “What like it’s hard?” is her way of getting a dig at Warner for calling her dumb by making out that getting in was easier than it actually was.
Warner then wants her back because he’s a dick and she is now up to his standard because she’s hot and went to the kind of school that he considers a high standard. He looked down on her before because she was doing fashion rather than something “intellectual”.
She doesn’t fall for “the quiet nerdy guy” she ends up with a dude who respects her as a human being than a man who saw her as an accessory to his own ambition.
Elle Woods is not a Mary Sue, at all, Elle Woods is a feminist icon.
"if you’re straight then why did you say she was hot"
yo i’m straight not blind
One time a nun at my school saw a hot guy and said “woah God did a nice job on that one” and we all looked at her like ??? and she goes “I’m allowed to look at the menu I just can’t order”
